Are you OK, Mommy?
Sophie likes to comfort others when she thinks they're hurt -- or when they're not hurt. Here's a video of Sophie trying to comfort Vân. She gave Vân her stuffed elephant Elmer, then to make Vân's headache go away, she threw a football at her head.
Nemo Found!
We're now members of the Seattle Aquarium. It's a great place for us to take Sophie when it is rainy. We've been at the aquarium only twice, but we've learned a great deal about salmon in the Northwest and the ecology of the Puget Sound. Sophie, however, just wants to find Nemo. And she does not care for the seal. "I don't want to see the seal," she said.

Frosty the Snowman
Vân introduced Sophie to Frosty the Snowman during Christmas. But she didn't really take to him until a month later. And once she took to him, she would sing the song "Frosty the Snowman" really loud, on top of her lungs, every five minutes.
Itsy Bitsy Spider - and Wolf and Tree
Sophie loves singing as much as dancing. But there is a twist. She changes lyrics to make them her own. For instance, she would sing "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" for ten times, then on the eleventh time, she would change the spider into a wolf, and it would be coming down of a tree.
