Terror on Wheels!

We got Sophie a "walker" a few weeks ago. At first, she was just going backwards (sitting back and kicking her legs so that the only direction she went was back), but now she's got the hang of it and can maneuver herself all around the apartment.

Out of nowhere, Sophie started clicking her tongue just like her Ba Ngoai!

Well, just Daddy's hair--Sophie loves Daddy's hairy legs:

We scheduled a play date with Sophie's cousin "Sourit" who's 5 months older. It started out well enough...

But Sophie wasn't feeling it...

Sophie tried to get away, but Sourit followed her.

Sophie didn't seem too happy about that (look at her face!). Perhaps she's just jealous of Sourit's mobility.

Memories of Tet 2011

Tet was a blur of families, friends, and food. Just a few pics from Sophie's first Tet:

Sophie Eats!

Sophie demands to eat when she sees us eat.
She has yet to sprout teeth, but she's good at mashing food with her gums.
She's also catching on to sucking liquids with a straw.

At our favorite hu tieu nam vang place, Hong Phat.
